Summer Corn Sunset Sticker

I fractured my foot in August 2015, and a friend bought me an incredibly generous gift of 32 bottles of paint, several canvases and canvas boards, and a cool storage box. The night before the surgery to basically put my foot back together, I saw a stunning photo of a cornfield at sunset taken by a friend and posted online, and decided to paint it. I showed it to him and asked him if it was okay for me to use his photography as inspiration for painting, and he became really excited and proposed that we put together a collaborative project. I would do a series of paintings based on his photos, and he'd overlay them in Photoshop to create photograph/painting "fusions."
