Description: I fractured my foot in August 2015, and a friend bought me an incredibly generous gift of 32 bottles of paint, several canvases and canvas boards, and a cool storage box. The night before the surgery to basically put my foot back together, I saw a stunning photo of a cornfield at sunset taken by a friend and posted online, and decided to paint it. I showed it to him and asked him if it was okay for me to use his photography as inspiration for painting, and he became really excited and proposed that we put together a collaborative project. I would do a series of paintings based on his photos, and he'd overlay them in Photoshop to create photograph/painting "fusions." Hence, Project Fusion was born. Over a year and 9 Project Fusion pain...

Description: Painted my favorite zen tree again, this time using leftover paint from a different project ? I think it's kinda fun to repaint this tree using different styles from past paintings that I've done. This one was done using the moon from "Midnight Contemplation." Except I was a bit impatient with the sky, so I'm not sure it came out very well. I like the tree, though. Media: Acrylics on 9×12" Canson multimedia paper
